If you are considering Greek Life, or if you are just curious, check out the "about ifc" tab. This will provide you with a valuable link to all 31 fraternities that we govern. Through this link, you can learn more about each fraternity and see how diverse our Greek experience is. The next step is to contact a fraternity representative to ask them questions. If you are a little hesitant to do that, just give one of the executive board members from IFC a call. We will gladly share information with you in an unbiased fashion. If you have any questions or would like to see additional resources on the website, please give one of us a call. news Special Elections for the Recruitment Vice President There will be a special election for the interim IFC Recruitment Vice President at the July 13th General Assembly meeting. Applications are due by 11:59 p.m. on July 9, 2009. To be eligible, you must have a minimum 2.2 cumulative GPA and be a member of a full member fraternity in IFC. Responsibilities of the Recruitment Vice President Specifics Responsibilities: a. He shall preside over all matters concerning rush and oversee the Rush Committee. b. He should be marketing Rush with the help of National Pan-Hellenic Council, Multicultural Greek Council, and Collegiate Panhellenic Council. c. Produce publications to promote fraternity membership. d. Coordinate and supervise Interfraternity Council rush activities. e. Take such actions considered necessary to ensure that chapters are in compliance with the Interfraternity Council Rush Policies. f. Conduct an evaluation of rush and report to chapters the results of the evaluation. g. Conduct any other programs and/or activities that may enhance the effectiveness of member fraternities in recruiting new members. This position must also act as an executive board member and therefore, will be responsible for all executive member responsibilities.
